Graduated from Dhaka Dental College and started career as private dental practitioner in Dhaka. As part of professional development moved to UK and joined as honorary clinical attachment at Glan Clwyd Hospital NHS Trust of Wales. Later  worked at the Central Manchester University Hospital,  University Hospital of North Midland, Stoke -On-Trent and New Cross Hospital of NHS Trust of England (2008-2012) as full time dental resident.

Received dental practice license  of Dubai Health Authority (DHA) , UAE (2016) and served the international community for some period at Glasgow Medical Centre.

Also enrolled full time training (Royal College of Surgeons of UK affiliated) in Oral Surgery and Dental Implant at Saveetha Dental College and Hospital, Chennai (2007-2008), one of the very well-known dental college in India. Dr Rahman completed specialist fellowship training (FCPS) in Orthodontics at Dhaka Dental College Hospital and  awarded FCPS degree in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics by Bangladesh College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Beside of being a specialist orthodontist and dental practitioner Dr Rahman has a strong foundation in oral  surgery, He brought a unique blend of international experience, advanced surgical training, and patient-centered care to his practice in Dhaka. His background includes extensive work within the NHS (National Health Service) in England, where he received world-class training in basic & complex oral surgeries, implant placement, and bone grafting techniques — skills that have become the backbone of his implantology practice today.

This NHS surgical background sets him apart from many general dentists due to formal oral surgery training.  His time in the UK also instilled a deep respect for sterile protocols, patient safety, and ethical care, which he continue to uphold in his practice here in Bangladesh.
